Renew your Creative Self
by Renting a Stay in a Wooded Retreat
Hideaway shelters and Four season cottages
available Spring 2023.
Kumari of the Woods is a 52 acre escape.
Eight hideaways will be constructed and open in summer 2023 along with three all-season cottages. The cottages will have fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms and sleep 4-6 people. There will be large decks and places to park your vehicle at each cottage. The cottages will offer privacy and comfort even through winter months with radiant floor heat and gorgeous views of the forest, even in the snow.
The hope is for our Community space, a Yoga Yurt for classes and special programs, will be open by Fall 2023. We also hope to build a functional summer kitchen under roof for our Hideaway guests. Stay tuned for more info.
Kumari of the Woods Is a Small Retreat of Hideaways & Cottages
Rented to Artists
Our hideaways will be available in May 2023 and are available for a minimum two day stay. Our cottages will be available by Spring 2023 to artists by the week or month for a stay that encourages productive yet peaceful solitude.
Our Approach
Comfort is key. Your stay will be yours to enjoy in this wooded retreat. Owners live on the grounds but privacy and contentment is key for you to finish a manuscript, begin a visual arts piece, compose a musical score.
Location
Kumari of the Woods is located in the Upper Valley in Strafford, Vermont, off-grid, yet not far from Hanover, New Hampshire, restaurants and cafes, and the Dartmouth Ski-way.
I am pleased to announce that my book has been reprinted and is now available from Amazon!
