Our Hideaways are 10’x12′ shelters furnished with handmade beds, organic linens, fairy lights for after dark and totally protected from the elements of summer rains. The exterior includes a small deck and table and a private composting toilet to meet your needs. We provide drinking water and a small fire pit. You bring your food and don’t forget the marshmallows! The Hideaways are tucked away in the forest canopy and available to run beginning August 18th.Hideaway 1 is in an easy to reach setting off the main drive of Kumari of the Woods, nestled at the edge of the forest and overlooking the lower road.
Hideaways have a composting toilet, water supplied by jugs, and a small firepit. Bring your food, simple cooking supplies, flashlights and store all food and trash in a tight lidded container away from hungry forest animals. You can park your car near Hideaway 1, 2 and 3.
You can drive your vehicle fairly close to most hideaways but bring your hiking boots for walking. Mother Nature will welcome you and the woods provide all the relaxation you need.
